Like a cross between ‘The Breakfast Club’ and ‘Home Alone’ comes ‘Grounded’, the tale of a bunch of unaccompanied minors stuck in a airport together on Xmas eve because of a blizzard. Spencer (and his product-covered hair) must get his sister the Xmas she wants (present and tree) by 4.30am even though they’re stuck in the airport. I have to admit, I couldn’t quite work out the importance of this. So ‘super brother’ and a bunch of other kids he befriends (best of the lot being ‘Everybody Hates Chris’ star Tyler James Williams) get into all sorts of scrapes with the authorities, such as joyriding on golf carts, plummeting through baggage chutes and canoeing down a snow bank.

There’s lots of comedy for young kids, but I was bored about mid-way through.
