Subject: Cray Road

Congratulations to Les Easton in  managing to  get  Cray Road  reopened, 

there cannot  be a local resident  of the  Sidcup Hill, Cray Road area  who

has not been  driven to  total  despair  by  the inactivity  displayed by

the workmen at  this project and  the traffic  chaos that has  ensued.

The comments from Gareth Lewis  of Southern  Gas  are  laughable.

Requests to our  local  councillors  on three  occcasions to attempt to

resolve this chaos appear to have fallen  on deaf ears, no  doubt they  were

not inconvenienced by this project 

If this project  is the result of a full  consultative   process  between  

the utility  company  and  our local traffic planners,I shudder think what

the outcome would be for  any  larger project
