St. Pancras

I read your "my month" column in the January 2008 edition with interest,

particularly the item on St. Pancras.Do you know that you can now travel

from Sidcup to St. Pancras by train changing only at London Bridge? (you

don't even change platform).

No need to use the tube at all.

But why bother? Get the train from Sidcup to Dartford, Greenhithe or

Gravesend and get the regular "fasttrack" bus to Ebbsfleet international.

The whole journey should take less than an hour and is free for everyone if

you show your passport and Eurostar ticket.

PS. I have no personal or professional connection with Eurostar but your

article was so negative I felt moved to try to redress the balance.

All the best.

Tony
