Comment: I picked up a copy of your July 07 paper today and was pleasantly surprised that something is being done about the criminal damage being commited on London\'s buses by the Operation Bustag.

I have always wondered how and why has Ken Livingstone given free travel to school kids who like these make other paying user\'s travel to and from work a completly disgusting adventure with vandalism, shouting,littering,spitting,smoking(all kinds)swearing etc everyday.Ken reckons that the percentage of offenders is very small, but considering the costs that these school kids induce, in my opinion they should be all disqualified from using buses during school hours.

Seeing that we follow the americans in practically everything that they do why on earth can\'t we introduce the School Bus?! I am quite sure that it would bring peace, tranquility and more clenliness to the London buses. If Ken is for the Londoner then he should make a few trips himself without his bodyguards etc ristricting ingress to the buses and trains.

These politicians need to get real.

Great to see someone is trying to put vandals to shame, and maybe fine their parents would be a good thing too!
